Our Story

We Meet

2019

Taylor and Ellie's love story began when they had their first date, after matching on Coffee Meets Bagel.

2020

The Roaring twenties are back, and a stay-cation tradition is formed for Taylor and Ellie.

2021

Spontaneous day trip to Lake Murray, where Taylor's family used to vacation, and visited the Foggy Bottom Cafe.

2022

Taylor and Ellie went on a trip to Austin. They got to dip their toes in Travis Lake and visit local distilleries.

2023

Mission tour in San Antonio! Ellie and Taylor enjoyed the Riverwalk and a haunted ghost tour of downtown.

2024

Taylor and Ellie were celebrating five years together in downtown Grapevine, when Taylor brought her to the giant white gazebo and got down on one knee and asked Ellie to marry him. She said yes!

2025

Taylor and Ellie Transition to house-life and hope to become true homeowners in the future.

2026

Taylor and Ellie are excited to start this new chapter in their life, and welcome everyone to help celebrate with them on May 30th.

Meet the Wedding Party

Monica (MOH)

Monica and Ellie met in 2010. They attended the same high school and lived in the same neighborhood. The duo quickly became in separatable, walking to each other's houses every day. They Remained close friends after school and even worked together for a short time. Monica and Ellie typically spend time together going to concerts, shopping and having dinner dates.

Stephanie, Bridesmaid

Stephanie and Ellie became instant friends in middle school theater class. They were both theater directors and cheerleaders' senior year of high school. When Stephanie moved to New York for law school, they stayed in touch by forming a two-person book club and talking on the phone once a week. This pair can be found driving around and listening to show tunes while singing their hearts out.

Angela

Angela and Ellie bonded during high school, writing funny stories, working on art projects and quoting pride and prejudice. They both attended University of Dallas and became roommates for two years. After graduation in 2017, Ellie and Angela often made plans to go out on the town, meet up for brunch and cocktail hour. These two are often seen giggling at their own jokes and frequenting local bookstores. This January Ellie and Angela went skiing in Breckenridge Colorado.

Sophia, Bridesmaid

Sophia came to know Ellie and Angela from across the hallway freshman year at the University of Dallas. the three of them became quick friends attending plays, having group dinners and watching tv shows late into the night, Memorable moments together include winning at the horse races in Hot Springs, Spring break trip to Boston, NYC and Washington D.C. during a blizzard, going to Corpus Christi to watch the Eclipse and Bark in the Park with our Chihuahuas.

Delaney, Bridesmaid

Delaney is Taylor's only sibling, and hangs her hat in Omaha NE. She was introduced to Ellie in spring of 2019; they spent the night chatting and watching Deadpool while Taylor fell asleep at their dad's place. Early memories made together: going to The Pocket Sandwich Theater, Dinner at Lava Grill, and Gram Jo's 90th Birthday celebration in Omaha. Delaney introduced AJ to the family and announced their own engagement this January!

Karlos, Best Man

Karlos and Taylor met while working together. They became close when they started carpooling to work and shared a love for classic cars. The two drinking buddies used to frequent SoCal Tacos in Grapevine. In 2018 Taylor was the officiant at Karlos' wedding. They have a life goal to drink mojitos in Cuba together.

Eric, Groomsman

Eric and Taylor were family friends from high school. In 2009, on a family vacation to Cancun, the two forged a lifelong friendship. They spent many weekends going to car meets, drag races and drinking beers. The two also made up a 4loco Wii Bowling tradition. Taylor became known as Uncle Tay-Tay to Eric's daughters Stevie and Kylie.

Chaz, Groomsman

Chaz and Taylor met at Grapevine Ford and worked side by side for 8 months. Taylor was a groomsman at Chaz' wedding in 2015. Chaz runs a family farm and farmer's Market in Burleson. Taylor and Chaz meet at the market frequently, talk life and joke about exotic meats.

Chris, Groomsman

Chris and Taylor initially met in 2017 at an Autobody Trade Show. Two years later, Taylor was working at the same company. They started to form a friendship based on respect and cowboy hats. Since then, they have worked many trade shows together. For the eclipse in April 2024, Chris invited Taylor and Ellie to his property in Stonewall TX, where they got to see his cows and coonhound, and hang out in the pool. After 27 years with the company, Chis is celebrating his retirement this year!

Alex, Groomsman

Alex is Ellie's older brother, born eighteen months apart and have been besties ever since. Alex and Taylor met early on in their relationship, when Ellie introduced him to the Dimitry family. They got to know each other over holiday visits, talking about computers and building things. Taylor and Ellie enjoy spending time with Alex when flying to Arkansas once a year. They often spend time in downtown Hot Springs, go on hikes and boat rides with the Dimitry family.
